Tryout Information for Parents

REGISTER FOR TRYOUTS HERE

Tryouts: Sunday, June 9th:

• 5th/6th Grade Boys (11u & 12u) (3:00pm -4:00pm)

• 7th Grade Boys (13u) (4:00pm - 5:00pm)

• 6th/7th Grade Girls (12u & 13u) (5:00pm - 6:00pm)

Tryouts: Sunday, June 30th:

• 8th Grade Boys (14u) (3:00pm - 4:00pm)

• 9th Grade Boys (15u) (4:00pm - 5:00pm)

• 10th/11th grade Boys (16u &17u) (5:00pm - 6:00pm)

Your Grade level is determined by the grade you completed in the 2023-2024 school year, NOT the grade you are entering in the fall of 2024

We kindly request that you arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to your child’s age group’s designated tryout time to ensure a prompt and efficient start.

Where: Harvest Bible Chapel (The Mitchell Swaback Center)

*If entering from Randall Road, please follow the signs to the back of the property where the Mitchell Swaback Center is located.

Please note that tryouts are closed, and only players and Bardo Basketball evaluators will be permitted into the gym.

Results of the tryouts will be communicated via email and posted on www.bardobasketball.com no later than 48 Hours after completion of tryouts

Cost for Illinois Elgin Elite Roster Players

Summer Season Fees:

Player Fee: $650

• Additional Uniform Fee for New Players

Location(s): West Chicago (Wheaton Academy), Lombard, Aurora, Waukegan, Pleasant Prairie, WI, and Romeoville.

Practices: Tuesdays & Thursdays (Times TBA at Tryouts)

8th Grade Boys, 9th Grade Boys, & 10th/11th Grade Boys

Tournament Dates for the following Teams:

• Saturday, July 13th
• Sunday, July 21st
• Sunday, July 28th
• Saturday, August 4th
• Saturday, August 10th
• Saturday, August 17th

Location(s): West Chicago (Wheaton Academy), Lombard, Aurora, Waukegan, Pleasant Prairie, WI, and Romeoville.

Additionally, all Elgin Elite players are encouraged (though not mandatory) to participate in available Bardo Basketball Training sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. We aim to provide our players with ample opportunities to enhance their skills beyond team practices.
