ABOUT US

Training Philosophy

In my trainings, I believe every drill should be done at game speed and for a purpose.

Each player I work with has a different baseline of skillsets and that is okay. Every training l express the battle between You vs Yourself. All I ask of players is to give their very best, when you push the walls of comfortability and give your very best. Results are indicative.

Hello there, my name is Anthony Lombardo.

Over the past few years, I have spent time coaching for both the Bartlett and South Elgin High school feeder programs. In the summer months, I coach with local AAU team based out of Elgin, Epic Hoopz Basketball. Outside of team coaching, I organize group and individual basketball skills trainings.

My passion for the game began when I played under local legends, Coach Scott Cork and Coach Damion Abrams with the Elgin Academy feeder program. Both men played a crucial role in developing me as a basketball player and as a man. To this day my basketball philosophies are directly correlated to the lessons they have taught me.

I continued my basketball journey in High school, playing Varsity Basketball for Coach Jay Teagle and Coach Paul Ferguson at Wheaton Academy. My summers months were spent playing a long some of the area’s top talent with AAU club Mercury Elite under Coach Dave Ruggles.

These programs and coaches provided me the opportunity to play against not only the nation’s top talent but in some of the most iconic basketball venues in the world such as, The United Center and The Dean Dome (Chapel Hill, NC)

As my playing career ended my passion for the game continued to grow, switching from fulfilling my own individual goals to now help young individuals achieve their basketball dreams.

Being the eldest of seven brothers and sisters. I am very passionate and enthusiastic of the development in a young person’s life. The game of Basketball if used correctly, can be a tool for just that.
