Bardo Basketball is hosting Spring 2026 AAU tryouts for boys 10U–17U. Our program is designed for athletes who want to compete, develop, and grow both on and off the court.

Our Spring AAU teams focus on:

• High-level skill development
• Competitive regional and national tournaments
• Strong coaching and accountability
• Exposure opportunities for high school athletes
• Community Outreach “It’s Bigger Than Basketball”

Tryout Schedule:

• 12:00–1:00pm | 4th–5th Grade
• 1:00–2:00pm | 6th Grade
• 2:00–3:00pm | 7th Grade
• 3:00–4:00pm | 8th Grade
• 4:00–5:00pm | 9th Grade
• 5:00–6:30pm | 10th–11th Grade

Introduction:

Bardo Basketball  is founded on the principle that “It’s Bigger Than Basketball” —

Our basketball program is built on the belief that the game extends far beyond the court. We aim to cultivate not only skilled athletes but also well-rounded individuals who can apply the lessons learned inside the 94 feet to all the aspects of their lives. Our philosophy is grounded in the idea that basketball is a tool for personal growth and development, helping players chase their dreams and become better humans.

(We believe repeated fundamentals done the correct way, is the path to improvement. Continually intensifying and making fundamentals more challenging is where growth can compound.)

Personal Growth: Instilling life skills like leadership, communication, and daily disciplines.

Practice Itinerary:

45-minute Individual and Skill Development sessions: These sessions include repeated skill development drills to enhance each player's basketball fundamentals and build self-confidence to attack the court.

45-minute Team concepts:  Includes analyzing game-like situations, team playbook, and Live scrimmages. 

*In addition to our team practices, We also offer skills training on the days we don't have team practices for each grade level. We want our players to have the best opportunity to grow and also give discount codes to those players that make our team rosters.

Practices/Tournaments: We have many players all throughout Kane, Dupage, and Cook County. Majority of our practices take place in consistent gym space along St. Charles and Elgin, IL.

• 2 Practices per Week 
• 8 Tournaments (Late March-May)
• All Bardo Team players will also have the opportunity for additional training on off days. 
• Bardo Basketball Service Project
